Our living vases are easy to maintain and a great gift idea- lasting longer than flowers and requiring little maintenance.

Care Instructions

Living Vases

Our living vases require little maintenance. The care instructions may differ depending on the plant species. We use plants that love bright, indirect light and will thrive in water. When you take your living vase home, find a suitable location that does not receive direct sunlight and is a consistent temperature (away from drafts and heaters).

Make sure to regularly top up the water in your vessel so that the roots are suitably submerged. We like to completely change the water every other week and add a few drops of liquid fertiliser to keep the plant happy. We like to use rainwater in our living vases!

If you notice algae growth, your vase may be getting too much light. You will need to change the water and may need to move your plant into a different area.

Garden Bowls

Our garden bowls will thrive under bright, indirect light. This may near a window that receives no direct sunlight or under artificial grow lights.

Water your garden bowl when the top inch of soil in your garden bowl is dry to touch. We regularly mist our garden bowls and wipe the leaves with a moist cloth to clear off any dust or debris. Take care not to overwater your garden bowl and allow to dry out between watering.
