Care Instructions
The frequency of watering will depend on the type of plant in your kokedama and the position. Generally, you'll know to water the kokedama when it is dry to touch and is light when picked up.
Fill a bucket or sink with water and immerse the Kokedama. We recommend leaving it to soak for about 15 minutes. When removing the kokedama from its 'bath', gently squeeze to drain any excess water and let it drip dry on a saucer before rehanging/putting back in position. You can also lightly mist your kokedama as needed.
We like to position our kokedamas in bright, indirect lighting. Many of our kokedamas are displayed indoors on a decorative plates with pebbles; you may also water the kokedama by watering the pebbles at the base of the plate. Refill water when the pebbles have dried out.
We recommend trimming any unhealthy leaves to maintain the health of your kokedama. Take care to avoid over-watering your kokedama or leaving it to sit in water. You may also fertilise your kokedama if needed.
If you notice browning or yellowing leaves, you may need to adjust your watering frequency or the plant position.
